Gelded skewers are a typical dish of the traditional Abruzzo cuisine, made of sheep meat. They give its best when grilled, because the meat becomes juicy and tender.  To flavor the skewers, one can use some twigs of rosemary and sprinkle them lightly with lemon juice.
